Running linux TRK and Deluge..

Post by boobab » Sun Oct 21, 2012 2:49 pm

Hi all. Here is the story. I couldn't keep the ratio on what.cd and was disabled my leeching privilages. I set up the proxy port in Deluge and now I am not sure if anything is going on. Maybe I set wrong tracker URL.. ( I just enetered what.cd as URL). All I need to do is to alter my uploads. Can it be accomplished with TRK? Thanks.

UPDATE: now Deluge is saying: what.cd:error: Host not found ( Authoritative)

Hi.

Do you use GUI or console mode? If you set TRK and your torrent client correctly, you will see torrent trackers on TRK's list.

yes, I am running GUI. Its seems to me that I set everything up correctly, but it's not working and no trackers on TRK list. Anything else I should try?

Did you use this tutorial to setup Deluge (TRK works as HTTP proxy)?

It should be in your home dir or in dir with TRK. It's up to your java settings.

Is it possible that linux firewall blocks TRK? Please try to telnet to TRK:

Code: Select all

telnet localhost <PORT>
Does it connect? If yes, try to enter localhost:<PORT> to your browser's proxy settings (HTTP and HTTPS). Does your browser work?

telnet localhost 3012
Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
