If you were to abandon, would it still work?

If this program were to be abandon, and no new updates were to ever come would the program still do it's job? Would the license key(s) still work? From what I've been reading on the forum the site Admin has power over the key(s) as far as activation and what not. I just want to make sure this is a good investment and not something that can go sour in 6 months.

We are working on this software for 5 years and we are not going to stop. You can take any previous version and try to launch it. It will do what it should do. Each TRK update adds something new like new trick, new torrent client or our affiliate system.
Each license key activates 1 TRK copy. If you change PC you will be able to active TRK again, but old PC will auto-deactivate and TRK will stop.
